A constant search for cutting-edge solutions

The continuous proposal of new products and solutions for the wine world takes place thanks to our constant research activity, experimentation and creation of innovative techniques and processes.

We have a covered area of about 11,000 square metres dedicated to our laboratories, a system of collaborations with the major research centres, universities, and a network of consultants who constantly interface with our laboratories.

Because we always pursue the improvement and application of cutting-edge solutions for the production of wine.

Scientific collaborations
Excellence and territoriality: these two elements guide the choice of centres to collaborate with for the optimisation of our products. This is where the partnerships are born, like the one with the University of Padua or the University of Udine. Together we look at today's problems and try to predict the oenology of the future, to ensure continuous improvement of techniques and products in a sustainable way.

The dutiful response to climate change, the growing attention to different lifestyles, the improvement of sustainability of production processes: every research activity carried out by our technicians and collaborators is aimed at providing concrete and targeted solutions for our customers, respecting more sustainable winemaking for a more authentic and genuine product.

Certification

Our quality management system complies with the requirements of the European Union. Furthermore, we have the Certificate of Conformity for organic products, always in accordance with European legislation.

Tracciabilità

La tracciabilità dei prodotti è completa, in ottemperanza alle normative vigenti, perché sia possibile conoscere l’intero percorso delle materie utilizzate.

Tutti i lotti delle materie prime e dei prodotti finiti sono registrati nel sistema ERP aziendale per mezzo di lettori QR Code garantendo un’immediata tracciabilità in ogni fase, dal ricevimento della merce alla lavorazione, alla spedizione.

I QR Code contengono, oltre alle informazioni base, anche la data di scadenza e altre informazioni utili al cliente.

Ambiente

Lavoriamo in sinergia con tutta la filiera produttiva per ridurre l’impatto ambientale del processo di vinificazione, attraverso:

  • un progressivo efficientamento energetico dell’azienda, che dal 2015 è dotata di impianti fotovoltaici di ultima generazione;
  • la scelta di packaging sostenibili e coadiuvanti naturali.
  • l’offerta di un’ampia gamma di prodotti granulati, per ridurre peso e volume dei trasporti.

Controllo Qualità

Le materie prime vengono acquistate esclusivamente da fornitori selezionati e costantemente monitorati.

Per esempio, tutti i lotti di ogni ceppo e derivato di lievito vengono analizzati prima ancora della consegna, per rispondere a una quantità di parametri ben superiore a quanto richiesto dalla legge.

Questo permette un processo di approvvigionamento più attento e sostenibile, poiché evita il trasporto della merce non conforme alle richieste.

TRACEABILITY

We offer complete product traceability, in compliance with current regulations,
to know the entire route of the materials used.

All lots of raw materials and finished products are registered in the Corporate ERP system by means of QR Code readers, guaranteeing immediate traceability at every stage, from receipt of the goods to processing and shipment.

The QR Codes contain, in addition to the basic information, the expiry date and other useful information to the customer.

ENVIRONMENT

We work in synergy with the whole supply chain to reduce the environmental impact of the winemaking process, by:

  • progressive energy efficiency improvement of the company, which since 2015 has been equipped with latest generation photovoltaic systems;
  • the choice of sustainable packaging and natural adjuvants;
  • the offer of a wide range of granulated products, to reduce weight and transport volume.

QUALITY CONTROL

Raw materials are purchased exclusively from selected and constantly monitored suppliers.

For example, all batches of each yeast strain and derivative are analysed even before delivery, to meet a number of parameters well above what is required by law.

This allows for a process of more careful and sustainable sourcing, as it avoids transport of goods that do not comply with the requirements.
