Ever is celebrating fifty years of business, strengthened by the experience and the path taken, with renewed energy and a determined look towards the future. On this special occasion, we want to reaffirm our values, summarising what is fundamental for us in this manifesto, at the heart of the vision that has guided us so far and that will guide us in the next 50 years as well.
The people, the territory, the culture of wine.
1. People first
People make the difference, they create the history and soul of a company and our employees are also the first wine consumers. We think that to be truly sustainable, a company must create value, not only for itself but for its employees, for the territory and the community. In short, for the people.
We love developing human relationships, with employees, collaborators, suppliers and customers: we believe in developing authentic bonds and building relationships based on trust and a common passion for oenology.
This is our way of working, a way that we like and that makes us proud.
And when we say that we are always close, from the vineyard to the cellar, we are not just talking about physical proximity. Our commitment extends far beyond this, touching the spheres of public life and community care.
2. The territory in a glass
One of our objectives is to bring attention to the territory, both in the sense of preserving its unique characteristics and with the intention of protecting it, always paying attention to environmental impact.
In the end, everything we do, good or bad, will be evidenced in the glass we drink.
Because every action we take, positive or negative, is reflected in the glass of wine we savour.
Our territory is not limited to what we see outside the window: it is the whole world. Because where there is wine, there is community. Wine is the catalyst, centre of aggregation and element of union. It embodies the strength of the territory, the dedication and vitality of a company.
We mainly recommend powder products, which we believe in and invest in more, because the production of diluted goods not only involves a problem in terms of volumes, but also encourages wheeled transport, therefore pollution and the production of Co2.
To support all this, since 2010 we have installed photovoltaic panels on every available space on the roofs: today we are at 86% of self-produced energy compared to the total consumed and we will reach 100% thanks to the latest implementations expected in 2023. Between batteries and panels, we will reach almost zero impact.
3. Wine culture
The culture of wine, its quality, wholesomeness and sustainability are driving and founding values for us.
We believe in a deeply interconnected approach, which involves environmental, economic and social aspects. It’s not just about “saving the planet”, but about adopting ethical and forward-looking strategies that can positively transform people’s lives in the long term.
The goal for us is to create all the conditions for producing an ever-better, healthier wine through environmentally friendly methods. This commitment is reflected in our processes and products. We are currently completing the ISO 22000 certification, an important step towards our purpose of becoming increasingly environmentally friendly. The next step will be obtaining environmental certification, which represents our commitment to a more respectful production for the planet, and to the promotion of a specific culture: the culture of drinking well and drinking better.
With this spirit we look to the future, with projects that make it possible to spread the culture of wine, also promoting ethical agricultural and winemaking practices.
Because wine is more than a drink: it is a bridge between us and the world, it is the connective tissue of communities. And it is with this conviction that we are committed to working to make wine, and the world around it, always better.
